BITSS course on open science

Summer Workshop on reproducible research to be held at Uniandes

The BITSS was established in 2012.

Currently working with professor Ignacio Sarmiento Barbieri on a 3 week course “Doing Open Science: Best Practices for Transparent and Reproducible Research” as part of the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS) 2024 Catalyst Grant for advancing transparent, reproducible and Ethical research. The intention is providing a spanish-lanuage-based workshop, from which we will construct resources in spanish to share best practices in applied (academic and industry) research. We’ll concentrate no code integrity, structure, usage of version management such as git, and finally file storage in repositories like OSF and Zenodo.
