Biography

Jack Reardon is the founding editor of the International Journal of Pluralism and Economics Education. He has written three books, including A Handbook for Pluralist Economics Education (Routledge, 2009). His most recent book, Introducing a New Economics (Pluto, 2017), reconceptualizes economics and how economists should be educated, with an emphasis on sustainability and pluralism. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Notre Dame. He is a research fellow at Cusanus University in Bernkastel-Kues, Germany, and a visiting lecturer at NMIMS in Hyderabad, India. At the time of the session, he was finishing a novel and writing a history-of-thought module for the Global Development and Environment Institute at Tufts University.
